This is an original backstage pass from Elton John's Made in England for the USA Tour, 1995 — the United States leg of his worldwide Made in England tour, presented by Visa Gold. The pass is finished in gold foil, which the photos do their best to capture. New Old Stock, never used, in pristine condition. Laminated and highly suitable for framing.
The US leg launched in Raleigh, NC on August 4, 1995 and closed at Madison Square Garden in New York City on October 20, 1995. From there Elton continued to South America, wrapping the entire tour in Rio de Janeiro on November 25, 1995 — 77 concerts in total, starting in France on May 20th.
Made in England was Elton John's twenty-fourth studio album, released in 1995. It was dedicated to his boyfriend and future husband David Furnish, whom he married on December 21, 2014. Only one song from the album — "Believe" — cracked the US top 20, reaching #13. Yet the tour was a massive success in America, a testament to Elton's enduring hold on his audience. There is only one of these available.
