Details: This is a gorgeous set of Mid Century tumblers by Libbey, in their much sought after "Rose Classic" pattern. These are Blown Glass with large white roses and golden bows with flowing ribbon tails, and a heavy weighted base, just beautiful! These are elegant looking glasses, perfect for bridal showers and weddings, but we could see these "dressed down" for a ladies lunch or a more casual get-together. This pattern was designed by Freda Diamond, she was an American industrial designer and very well known for her keen insight into American consumer tastes. In 1942, she was commissioned to co-design glassware for Libbey Glass alongside Virginia Hamill. Freda embarked on a year-long market research survey of consumer preference in style, price and material. Diamond and Hamill's designs, first manufactured following WWII, were incredibly popular, selling in the millions. The roses and ribbons design on these glasses makes them ideal for so many Spring and Summer celebrations!

Dimensions: 4.75 Tall, 3.0 inches in Diameter (top opening), 2.0 inches in Diameter at the foot. Holds 8 oz.
Condition: Vintage - Used. Good Vintage Condition. We didn't give them an Excellent rating because there is wear on most of the gold rims and a couple of the gold ribbons have a few dark markings (all photographed for you, see last two pictures). However, we feel, and you may agree, these issues are acceptable due to age/use/wear. No cracks, scratches or chips. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. All sales final.
