Details: A very heavy trinket dish with a figural large leaf, a smaller leaf and flower bud on the side. This looks like it was meant to hold papers or business cards. The flower "bud" unscrews enough to allow the small leaf to rise so you're able to insert papers or business cards, then tighten to hold in place. Genius! This is real solid brass, not plated. The veining is exceptional, lots of intricate details on both the large leaf as well as the smaller leaf. It has three small feet on the bottom and retains its original label that simply reads: "Made in India". This is heavy for its size, this small dish weighs over a pound! There is one condition issue, please see "Condition" below. Excellent decor piece and useful not only in the office but could be used to hold keys or corral other small items.

Condition: Vintage - Used. Good Vintage Condition. There are no chips or scratches, but where the smaller leaf rests on the larger leaf, there is wear and discoloration. We have not cleaned this piece, if you like the patina of older pieces as we do, no need for cleaning.
