A large oval porcelain trinket box from China, circa 1970s, richly decorated in the Fragonard style: a hand-painted Victorian couple on the lid, surrounded by elaborate gold encrusted designs on both lid and base, with red and gold moriage dots and swirls running along the rim. The backstamp is a Chinese red stamp with Chinese characters and "Made in China." Excellent condition — no chips, no cracks, no scratches.
