Details: This gorgeous jewelry casket is in wonderful condition! It has intricate etchings all along the edges, reminiscent of Victorian, regal designs. However, what puts this one over the top are the four lion heads, one on each leg. This one is lined in deep blue velvet, and has a hinged lid, the underside/bottom is also blue velvet. The top is smooth, can be monogramed or engraved, (not by us). It is unmarked so we're unable to tell you about its maker or history.
How to Use: Besides being a great collectible and typically used for safeguarding precious rings, delicate jewelry, or cherished keepsakes. This elegant, ornate box is equally at home as a decorative accent on a vanity, dresser, or shelf.
Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. As with all used silver and silverplate items, there are minor surface scratches. The lid has very faint "pitting/dots", in one section, they don't take a way from the beauty of the piece. They were very hard to photograph, please let us know if you need more photos.
