Designed in the likeness of a traditional Middle Eastern dowry or spice chest, it features a beautifully rounded, domed top, entirely adorned with hand-painted detail. Look closely and you'll find five distinct panels depicting traditional Persian Bazm (festive gathering) scenes — tiny figures playing instruments, dancing, and lounging, framed by intricate floral borders and finished in metallic gold accents. Lift the main lid to reveal a nest of individual trinket boxes inside, each with its own matching hand-painted floral lid and miniature knob.
Historically, chests of this scale were kept on a vanity to protect precious loose gemstones or costly spices like Persian saffron. Today it serves just as beautifully as a ring box, a home for small pills or vitamins, or simply a curiosity piece styled on a mantel or bookshelf.
Care instructions: do not use liquid cleaners or water. The miniature artwork is delicate — clean only by gently dusting with a dry, soft-bristled brush or microfiber cloth.
