Part of Avon's "Butterfly Fantasy" collection, made in Japan in 1974. The decoration — multi-colored flowers, butterflies, and greenery — covers both lid and sides, finished with a thick 22K gold rim. The backstamp reads: "Produced exclusively for Avon Products Inc. Fine Porcelain decorated with 22k gold trim, Avon 1974." Felt dots on the base protect furniture. Excellent condition — no chips, no scratches. Two available: one with the original "Made in Japan" sticker from the 1974 issue, one from the 1979 re-issue; otherwise identical. If the issue year matters to you, note your preference at checkout.
