Culver Glassware was founded in Brooklyn in 1939 by Irving Rothenberg, moving to Rahway, NJ in 1980. After Irving's death in 1986, his son Mark ran the company until selling it to Moderne Glass Co. in 1996, which still produces and reproduces Culver patterns today. This Yule Bear pattern (listed as CUV21 by Replacements) goes unnamed in Culver's own collector's manual, though a set of glasses has turned up stamped "Yule Bear."
