Details: This is such a pretty teapot! It is very small, would probably fill just one traditional Japanese tea cup. It is not only pretty, with its blue willow-like theme of mountains and bridges in traditional blue and white, but there are little indentations on the sides to make it sit comfortably in the hand as you pour. It has a matching underplate to keep drips/spills contained. The decoration is all around the pot, the lid, and underplate. It is stamped on the bottom with Japanese characters and retains its original: "Made in Japan", sticker. Makes a beautiful gift for a tea lover, an oriental ceramics collector, maybe a hostess gift with some fine teas! Pretty as decor too.
