A note on terminology: authentic Brown Betty teapots are made exclusively in Staffordshire, England — this is a Japanese piece in that style, not a true Brown Betty or redware. Still a lovely gift for a teapot collector who appreciates the form.

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic teapot in the Brown Betty style — rounded, warm brown, with hand-applied raised moriage floral decoration and a built-in strainer on the spout. Stamped "Made in Japan." Flange lid, very clean inside. Holds 32 oz.
