Carrigaline Pottery was started in 1928 by Hodder Walworth Blacker-Roberts in Carrigaline Ireland. The company had great success and grew. By 1952, they had added new buildings, more employees and added more items to their line. The original tiles and souvenir sales was growing, they had added: Tea pots, Cups and Saucers, Mugs, Plates, Jugs, and even Cookware. In 1970 there was a fire that affected production, even though they quickly recovered, they suffered financially and by 1979, the company closed.
