A lovely find for a Tiara or Indiana Glass collector, a great replacement if you've lost cups from your set, or a charming addition to a table that appreciates the unexpected. Beautiful for everyday use or a casual gathering.
Large by English tea standards, they were made for the American coffee cup — substantial, satisfying, and unexpectedly beautiful on a table. Indiana Glass produced Sandwich glass primarily for Tiara Exclusives, the home party retail division launched in 1970 by Lancaster Colony Corp. What distinguishes Indiana's version is the detail: rounded flowers with a single outline, and a scroll that widens at the base into a distinctive M shape. Tiara home parties ran until 1998, after which the pattern was discontinued.
