Three roses — pink, red, and white — together on bone china, each a different tone of the same sentiment. Green leaves fill the space between them, and the ruffled gold rim on both cup and saucer frames the whole arrangement with the kind of finish that distinguishes English bone china from everything else.
Regency China Ltd was a Staffordshire pottery registered in 1953 and run by the Walley family for most of its history, producing bone china that held the traditions of English tableware well into the late 20th century. The older Regency backstamp on this piece dates it to the 1970s–1980s, before the company dissolved in 2003. The gold rims — ruffled top and bottom on the cup, with a handle accent — are in excellent condition.
A beautiful piece for a rose collector, an English bone china enthusiast, or a gift for someone who loves flowers in every form. Lovely for a birthday, Mother's Day, bridal shower, or housewarming.
