Pink flowers and platinum — a combination that sounds delicate and is. The Anita pattern scatters small blossoms in both colors across the cup and saucer, with platinum accents at the rim, inside the cup, and on the handle. Everything about it is light-handed, and that restraint is exactly what makes it so appealing.
Noritake has been producing fine Japanese porcelain since 1904, and the Anita pattern — number 5309, produced between 1953 and 1960 — represents the mid-century sensibility the brand executed so well: feminine without being fussy, decorative without being busy. Each piece is backstamped with the Noritake "N" mark and "Japan 5309 Anita."
A lovely piece for a teacup collector, a display shelf, or a gift paired with fine tea. Suitable for a birthday, Mother's Day, bridal shower, or any occasion that calls for something genuinely pretty.
