A remarkable set for an antique Japanese porcelain collector, a moriage enthusiast, a serious tea table, or anyone who wants a complete and beautiful antique tea service with documented provenance.

Thirteen pieces (fifteen including lids): teapot with lid and internal strainer, five teacups with saucers, creamer, and lidded sugar bowl, all with a serene house-by-the-water scene, a green band, white moriage dot borders, and gold accents. The double-T within diamonds backstamp confirms Takito production. Takito exhibited at the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago and the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis, and their moriage work gained particular recognition during the Art Deco period.
