Details: A very nice tea set complete with lidded teapot and four Chawan / tea cups (Han tsutsu-gata shape). All pieces have bright red Chinese (or Japanese) characters against a deep black, high shine ceramic. The teapot has the same design on both sides, (there is no filter inside the teapot), the cups, only on one side. There are no markings on the bottom but the teapot still retains the Made in Taiwan sticker. Great set for your favorite tea lover, a nice decor piece in a kitchen or dining room. Perfect for the chinoiserie lover!
Materials: Ceramic
Dimensions: Teapot: 5.0 inches Tall (including lid), 7.0 inches Wide (including spout), the mouth opening is 2.75 inches in Diameter and the base is 4.25 inches in Diameter. The cups are: 2.5 inches Tall, and 2.75 inches in Diameter.
Condition: Vintage- Used. Very Good Condition. There is one very small chip on the teapot "loop" where the handle is attached, photographed for you. There is some crazing on the bottom (probably due to heat). Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.
