This version — pattern name Canton Blue, maker marked simply "CHINA" — adds a distinctive detail to the classic landscape: a single figure in robes, staff in hand, standing quietly at the rock's edge. The lid carries an intricate blue floral and swirl border. Similar in spirit to Mottahedeh's Blue Canton but its own distinct pattern. Estimated to the early 1990s.
