Details: A wonderful Open Sugar Bowl from Spencer Stevenson in very fine, translucent bone china. We could not find the name of this pattern but it has wonderful large roses, one pink, one white, surrounded by smaller flowers in blue, yellow and pink. Of course, this makes a pretty sugar bowl, but we love these little bowls to use for sauces, dips, on the nightstand to drop jewelry, or in the office to corral paper clips or small items.

Spencer Stevenson & Co was first established in 1948 as Stevenson, Spencer & Co in Longton, Stroke-on-Trent, England. They manufactured bone china. Royal Stuart name was a trade name they introduced in 1951. Manufacturing stopped in 1960.
