Details: A very cheery Santa Claus is sitting on his sleigh and waving to everyone as he goes by. He is dressed in his red and white suit and has a bag of toys in his sleigh. He is ready to hold the pretty knit stocking that he will soon be filling. This stocking holder is very heavy iron, looks hand painted. The stocking is knitted from yarn with Santa in the center and stars, gift boxes, Christmas trees, and hearts all around (the design is on both sides), with a couple of white pom-poms on the cuff. The colors are red, green, yellow and white. This set retains its original box, which is not in great condition, but good for storage. We believe these were made in China for Midwest Of Cannon Falls, originally had a made in Taiwan sticker and were stamped, MI, but in the late 1980's were made in China and had a "Midwest' sticker on the back, that sticker is no longer on this piece. Great for kid's room Christmas decor, or of course, on your mantel!
Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There are no defects or damage on either piece. However, the box is not in good condition, the lid has yellowed, there's tape and stains.
