- Details: Unique and very hard to find vintage artwork. Reverse painted butterflies silhouette on convex glass, overlaid onto a print of sweet pea flowers in a vase plus a lovely Mother's Day poem in a Victorian style font. The frame is real wood, with a white and gold wash, still shiny. The back is black cardboard with a built-in loop for hanging. These were popular in the 1940's to the 1960s, we got lucky this one is signed and dated, we can't read the name but it's signed "From Ernest ....(a last name) 1942" Today, silhouettes are back in style and can be mixed with other portraits, among wall plates, or displayed on their own.

- Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There is wear on the wooden frame. The nails are exposed on back. The hanging loop is very worn. All acceptable due to age/use/wear.
