The oval pewter emblem on the front shows the leaping dolphin wearing a helmet marked with an M, in the team's aqua and orange; it appears on one side only. The back of the emblem is engraved "NFL Officially Licensed Product," the model number M2009-3SSQ, and "Fine Pewter," along with the Great American Products eagle logo and the year 2000. The thick, heavy walls give the glass a solid weight in hand.

The Dolphins have used a leaping dolphin in a football helmet since the team's first logo in 1966.
