He wears the classic red-and-white suit with gold buttons and a black belt. He's unmarked and genuinely hard to find; we haven't come across another quite like him.

A fun pick for any Santa collector, or a cheerful little shelf sitter for holiday decor.

The Santa most of us picture today took shape over many decades. Illustrator Thomas Nast gave him a round belly, white beard, and workshop at the North Pole in Harper's Weekly drawings beginning in the 1860s, and Haddon Sundblom's warm, red-suited Santa for Coca-Cola advertising, which began in 1931, fixed the look in the public imagination. By the 1970s and 1980s, that familiar figure was a staple of American holiday decorating, and small ceramic Santas like this one turned up on mantels, shelves, and tabletops every December.
