Founded in 1883, the F.B. Rogers Silver Company became a well-regarded name in American silversmithing, known for quality silver-plated tableware and hollowware. Briefly renamed the West Silver Company in 1886 under owners Edmund W. Porter and L.B. West, the firm returned to its original name around 1904 under new ownership, then became a division of the National Silver Company in 1955. F.B. Rogers continued manufacturing into the early 2000s, surviving over a century of ownership changes and relocations — a testament to the enduring appeal of its silverplate designs.
