Taller than you'd expect, and lovelier for it.

At six inches, these ribbed fluted shakers make a real statement — the glass fans gracefully outward toward the base, and the silver-tone tops with their rounded finials give the whole thing an air of quiet formality. Made in Hong Kong in the 1960s or '70s, possibly by or for FB Rogers, though we couldn't confirm. The glass catches light beautifully; the metal tops show wear and some darkening with age, which is fully photographed. Versatile enough to serve salt, pepper, powdered sugar, cocoa, or even cinnamon — charming beside an eggnog bowl at the holidays.

A graceful addition to an elegant table, a buffet spread, or a collection of vintage glass. The kind of piece that earns a permanent spot.
