- Details: This is a delightful children's puzzle from the late 1940's. Made by The P&M Co, Inc., it is based on the nursery rhyme, "Baa, Baa, Black Sheet", and features a wonderful illustration by the much loved artist, Eulalie Banks. This is a hard cardboard, tray-style, puzzle with large pieces, some of the pieces are shaped like things children will recognize. In 1952, these same puzzles were copyrighted and re-issued under the full Platt & Munk name (vs P&M name). Perfect for small children, or can be framed and used as decor in a child's room or nursery. Great gift for a new mom, a child, a puzzle collector, or a Kingergarten teacher.

- Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. Some wear on the center pieces and wrinkle lines on the edge. Larger crease on the upper edge of the tray. Eulalie Minfred Banks was born in June 1895, in London, England. In 1918 she and her husband moved to the USA. Here she developed a relationship with the publishing company, Platt & Munk. She illustrated more than 50 classic children's books including nursery rhymes, fairy tales and folk stories. Eulalie died on November 12, 1999 in Sherman Oaks, California at the age of 104. Her illustrations live on and are loved the world over.
