- Vintage: 1950's - 1960's
- Details: A hard to find lithograph, now out of print. Depicting a tranquil town in the valley with church, large snow-capped mountains, lots of green trees, grass, and beautiful flowers, along a bridge and creek. The work is not signed, however, we believe this is the work of W.M. Thompson, (William Thompson Russell Smith, born in Glasgow, Scotland 1812, died in Glenside, PA, 1896) a Scottish-American painter. The print is marked: "G.P. 10732, Litho in U.S.A.". G.P. was a catalog company called "Great Prints," that sold educational prints and posters, number 10732 was the catalog number. This image was typically sold as an Advertisement Print for calendars, thermometers, cardboard hand fans, etc. We've actually seen this image sold with the cut-out piece ready to insert the thermometer. This piece is complete and suitable for framing, and recommended in order to maintain condition.

- Condition: Vintage - NOS. Excellent Condition. Never used, no folds, no damaged corners. The paper is yellowing ever so slightly, acceptable due to age.
