This is a large original lithograph, now out of print and genuinely hard to find. Titled "In The Shade of the Old Apple Tree" and marked #4834 / Made in USA (with catalog number #1795 visible under the mat), it belongs to the tradition of American advertisement prints produced for calendars, thermometers, and promotional pieces in the 1930s and 1940s. The print itself is in excellent condition — no folds, no damaged corners. The bottom cardboard has a single torn corner that would be completely hidden by framing. The image is shown framed in one of the photos as an example; frame not included.
A wonderful piece for rural Americana collectors, lovers of pastoral American illustration, or anyone looking for frameable vintage art with genuine history behind it.
