Details: A very beautiful antique chromo of a red rose, named after the Countess of Rosebery. The chromolithograph was made by Pierre Joseph de Pannemaeker, (1832-1904). The print is marked in pencil 1880 (not by us), however, based on many factors, we estimate this print could be from 1877 to 1914. Although very old, and time has yellowed the paper, the patina will add to the history and character of the piece. It is a beautiful piece and suitable for framing.

Condition: Antique - Used Very Good Antique Condition. If you love the patina of old paper as we do, this one's for you. The paper has developed age toning (yellowed over time), darker than it appears in photos due to lighting. There is a spot / stain in the largest rose, another smaller spot on the left side by a leaf, both photographed for you. The back has tape, looks as if the piece was framed at some point. We feel it's all acceptable due to age/use/wear. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.
