Still sealed, straight from the Blue Monster — a deck that's never left its plastic case. This double deck came from an estate sale, sourced from a serious playing card collector, and remains factory-sealed in its original plastic case.

Since the cards themselves can't be seen, dating relies on the tournament name.  The Doral Open ran on the PGA Tour from 1962 to 2006 on the legendary "Blue Monster" course at Doral Golf Resort & Spa (now Trump National Doral).  Between 1987 to 2000 the tour name was: Doral Ryder Open. Over the decades, the tournament hosted some of golf's biggest names — Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, and Tiger Woods among them.

The cards themselves come from Gemaco, a playing card maker founded in 1965 in Blue Springs, Missouri, later acquired by Gaming Partners International in 2014 and eventually purchased by Angel Playing Cards of Kyoto, Japan.

A wonderful Father's Day gift for the golfer in your life, or a rare find for any playing card or golf memorabilia collector.  Browse our shop for more sports collectibles and playing cards to round out a collection.
