This standard poker-size deck has four suits, and the box is printed "Christmas Playing Cards" in both English and French. The reindeer, snowman, elf, and Christmas tree suit symbols are pictured on the box. The card backs feature a green wreath with comical Christmas cartoons scattered on it. The narrow side reads "Copyright 1986 Novelty Playing Cards," notes that "Christmas Playing Cards" is a registered trademark of Novelty Playing Cards of Syracuse, NY, and states "Made in Hong Kong." The barcode is on the bottom. Because the deck is sealed, it has not been opened or counted. Published references describe this deck's twelve court cards, four aces, and two jokers as carrying comical Christmas cartoons.

A fun find for holiday game nights, stocking stuffers, and hostess gifts, and a treat for Christmas collectors who like to display a sealed piece under the tree.

Novelty Playing Cards of Syracuse, New York published this deck in 1986, and it is recorded by The World of Playing Cards, an online reference for collectors. This deck trades the traditional suit symbols for non-standard ones and leans on cartoon humor, which gives it more in common with a holiday novelty than with a serious casino deck.
