Details: This deck was made by Wessco for American Airlines. This airline has been giving passengers free playing cards since 1944, unfortunately in 1978 airlines were deregulated and competition increased, as well as costs, so eventually they stopped giving out playing decks. This card deck came from a collector's estate sale, it has never been opened, the box is sealed with the Wessco blue seal, there is no outside plastic wrapper on the box. Perfect for any playing card collector, a retired airline employee, someone who remembers the good old days of flying, or for the pure pleasure of playing with vintage cards.
