Details: This is a very elegant serving platter, deep enough to be considered a shallow bowl. There's lots of detail on this winter scene. A girl standing in a green pine tree forest, she has decorated one tree with red and white ornaments. A village is visible in the background with mountains farther in the horizon. The dish has a beautiful scalloped frosted edge. It's from the Mikasa's Christmas Story collection, originally issued in clear glass, later in green & red like this one, and later on with a red or green border. All made by Walther Glass in Germany for Mikasa. This would make a great hostess gift with a home made dessert or cookies. A perfect addition to your Christmas table or Christmas decor.
