  • Pattern: Green Cabbage Leaf (OLE12) - (Discontinued)
  • Made in Portugal by Olfaire
  • Not Vintage: 2010 - 2020
  • Details:  So many people collect the Cabbage Green patterns of Portugal that we decided to bring you these pieces, even though they're not vintage.  This is the saucer from the Olfaire Green Cabbage Leaf china with the traditional green embossed cabbage leaves and white veins.  These saucers are not stamped, however, after some research (because there are so many different companies making this pattern), we identified it as authentic Portugal pottery from Olfaire.  If you're trying to collect a set of Green Cabbage china, we hope these pieces get you a little bit closer to your goal, especially if you don't mind mixing from different makers.  If you've broken some and need replacements, we hope this find brings you joy.
  • Materials:  Ceramic
  • Dimension:  7.5 inches in Diameter
  • Condition:  Used.  Very Good Condition. There are no chips, cracks or scratches, however, there is some crazing on the pieces.  Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. Please remember these are USED items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear and tear and imperfections.
We were unable to find information on Olfaire Pottery.  Many online sellers state that Olfaire was founded by Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro but records we found show that Bordallo founded "Fábrica de Faianças das Caldas" in June 30, 1884, no mention of Olfaire ever.  There are many other pottery companies in Portugal, primarily in Caldas da Rainha, the majority made, or are still making, some type of cabbage pottery: Faiancas Subtil, Louca Leonel, Secla, and many others, but as far as we can tell, Bordallo Pinheiro pottery is still in business and still stamped with the Bordallo Pinheiro stamp and lizard logo, Olfaire pottery is found sometimes stamped with the Olfaire name, sometimes there's no stamp.
