Vintage: 1980's - 1990's (estimated).
Details: Perfect to set an equestrian table for 8, these wonderful cork backed placemats featuring the 19th Century artwork of John Frederick Herring (English artist 1795-1865), titled "Full Cry". The scene depicts Englishmen on horseback, giving chase with their hunting beagles in the English countryside. One unfortunate gentleman has fallen off his horse. These placemats are unmarked, they may be from Pimpernel, but we were unable to confirm. They wipe clean with a damp cloth, do not use as a chopping board or you will ruin them. Beautiful on a table any time of day. This is a set of 8, it will be very heavy, please keep that in mind at check-out.

Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. There are a couple of areas of concern, very slight peeling on two placemat corners, easy fix with some glue, a small bit of cork is missing from one, all photographed for you. There are very light surface scratches as consistent with age/use/wear. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns. All Sales Final.
