"Occupied Japan" marks appear only on pieces made between 1945 and 1952, when American occupation required all exports to carry the designation — which makes every piece from this period a small, specific piece of history. These three miniature Toby Jugs, each hand-painted in traditional Colonial colors, are no exception. At 2 inches tall they're purely for display, and they've been well-preserved over the decades.
