  • Pattern: Vintage Ceramic Pitcher, Paul Storie Country Barn
  • Made in Marshall, TX, USA
  • Vintage circa 1970's
  • Details:  A great find!  This highly collectible Paul Storie Pottery pitcher is all-present on the internet in blue, but this full color version is extremely rare.  This pitcher has a really nice shape and the soft colors used in the barn and surrounding country scene are just beautiful.  The design is only one one side.  The bottom is stamped:  "Paul Storie Pottery, Marshall, TX".  It is glazed but not extremely shiny.  This pitcher is very heavy, please keep that in mind at check-out.  This piece is ready to decorate your kitchen, hold a bouquet of flowers, decorate your country bathroom or look pretty just about anywhere in your home. Great gift for a pottery collector or farmhouse / country home dweller!

There is not much written about Paul Storie Pottery.  We found bits and pieces such as: The company was in Marshall, TX.  Paul Ray Storie was the son of another long time potter, Ted R. Storie.  Ted owned the "Ted R. Storie Wholesale Pottery Co." which he owned and operated until retirement.  We found that the Paul Ray Storie Pottery Wholesale Pottery Inc was incorporated in November of 1977 and was dissolved March 17th, 1980.  So Paul was not in business for himself for very long.  Ted passed away in August of 2018.
