- Details: This is an original presidential campaign button from the 1976 campaign where Jimmy Carter was running for President and Walter Mondale was his Vice Presidential running mate. The button is marked on the side: "Copyright 1976 Millennium Group". These are old factory stock that were never used. Jimmy Carter won over Republican Gerald Ford. Carter became our 39th President on January 20, 1977. It is Guaranteed Original, nice unused condition.
