"Pretty Kitty Kelly" was a CBS radio drama series that ran from 1937 to 1940, and this pinback was produced to promote it — one of the earliest examples of broadcast media merchandise. Kitty Kelly herself was a New York-born performer who began her career with the Ziegfeld Follies and later appeared in television series including Bonanza, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Batman, and Perry Mason. She died in 1968.
A genuinely scarce piece for a radio memorabilia collector, a broadcasting history enthusiast, or anyone fascinated by the early days of American media.
