- Details: This vintage Buster Brown Shoes logo pinback is a must-have for any vintage pin collector. The Brownbilt Club was a rewards club for customers of Buster Brown Shoes, they could earn points and special deals as part of their membership. Although this club started in the 1930's, we believe this pin is circa 1950's, primarily because of the logo used. The front of the pin reads: "Brown built Club, Buster Brown Brownbilt Shoes". The back is very hard to read, we believe it reads: Brown bilt shoes for men - for women, Buster Brown shoes for boys - for girls". This is a very scarce pin, extremely hard to find, especially in this condition. Pinbacks became associated with political campaigns, but today there are many different designs, collected either by theme, age, maker, etc. These buttons can be used on book bags, headbands, ID tags some even make jewelry w/them. Lots of nostalgia in these little pins.
