Jonette Jewelry Company traces back to 1935 as the Providence Jewelry Company in Rhode Island, later renamed for founder Abraham Lisker and his brother, then Jonette Jewelry Company after WWII. The "JJ" mark first appeared in 1970, and the company continued designing costume jewelry until closing in 2006. This retro-mod tree carries the JJ mark on the back.
