Details: A wonderful brooch featuring an angel cameo carved from gorgeous Abalone shell. Abalone and Mother of Pearl are very similar, sometimes Mother of Pearl show some iridescent qualities like abalone, however, looking at the back of this piece, we are pretty certain it is Abalone. But we are not experts, please review the pictures and make your own determination. We've taken lots of pictures to show you the different iridescent tonalities. The stone is set on an oval disc, some say is gold filled but we were unable to confirm, so selling as gold-tone. The pin has a safety clasp, and a hook so it can be slipped through a chain and worn as a pendant as well. Beautiful addition to your jewelry collection and makes a wonderful gift.
