Details: This is an exceptional original work by Jorge Cosme Quishpe. It is a mixed media piece, an oil painting on canvas with wood and brass. The painting is very interesting, as if looking through a doorway, you see a sunset and a great wall, perhaps from the Orient or perhaps the artist's own imagination. The doorway has a very intricate finish with lots of texture, brass fittings and a lion-head, brass doorknob. The piece is signed by the artist "Quishpe.
