This plastic ball ornament is stenciled with a delicate white floral pattern and blue centers, finished with a soft dusting of white glitter and handcrafted in Italy. It was imported in the 1980s by Yuletide Enterprises, Inc., a small company based in Long Island, New York, incorporated in February 1982. Remarkably little has been documented about them since — their import license lapsed in December 1992, and the trail goes fairly quiet after that, which makes a well-preserved piece like this feel like a small, unresolved bit of holiday history.
