Three bears, three small stories — a gift, a sprig of holly, a cozy stocking.
Each hand-painted, glittered glass bear wears a Santa hat and carries its own little scene: one holds a metallic blue gift box tied with a silver glitter ribbon, another cradles a sprig of holly, and the third is tucked snugly inside a Christmas stocking. They're unmarked, but we believe they were sold by Abbott Collections sometime in the 1980s–90s. The company itself has real history — founded in 1949 in Toronto by Englishman Ben Abbott as "Abbott from England," originally importing goods from the UK, it remains a family-run business today, now sourcing Christmas and home décor pieces from countries around the world.
A sweet gift for a teddy bear collector, or a lovely trio to add scattered charm across a tree. Pairs wonderfully with our other vintage teddy bear ornaments, like the Whitehurst mouth-blown bears or our Russ teddy bear on a rocking horse, for a cozy bear-themed grouping.
