A porcelain bell from Jasco's L'il Chimers Caring Critters collection, this is the Grandma bear feeding the baby bear in her red and green dress and matching bonnet both with real fabric lace trim.
Condition: Very Good vintage condition — There's a mfg. flaw, red paint left on one ear. The gold cord is a bit frayed. Please review photos closely before purchasing, as all sales are final.
Her loose porcelain legs double as the bell's clapper, ringing with a soft, genuine chime.
A lovely find for a doll or bell collector, a sweet gift for grandma, and a pretty addition to a tree or wreath.
Jasco's L'il Chimers Caring Critters line combined porcelain andromorphic animal figures with dangling legs that act as the functioning bell mechanisms, a novelty format popular in 1970s gift catalogs. Made in Taiwan as part of a larger set, collect them all.
Pairs naturally with our Jasco L'il Chimers Heirloom dolls in our shop.
