Silvestri has been in business since the 1970s, growing through several mergers and acquisitions while designing, manufacturing, and importing everything from giftware and tableware to glassware, ceramics, and seasonal collectibles. The brand was previously owned by eToys.com, which sold it to Demdaco in January 2007 — a small piece of retail history riding along with this little train.
