The Three Wise Men on their camels are embossed all around the bell, with a blue color band at the top and the bottom. The bell clapper, hanging by a gold metal chain, is embossed with tiny flowers, and the Lladro mark is clearly visible on the inside.
A wonderful gift and stocking stuffer, and a great find for anyone starting a Lladro bell collection or trying to complete one.
Lladro was founded in 1953 by the brothers Juan, José and Vicente Lladró in Almàssera, near Valencia, Spain, beginning with a small kiln at their family home. It grew into one of the world's best-known porcelain makers, famous for its figurines, and its annual Christmas bells are a favorite with collectors.
