A fun fit for a vintage-style or kitschy tree, and a good gift for anyone who collects mid-century ornaments or clowns.
Ornaments built from flocked balls, molded plastic faces, and scraps of felt and chenille were popular tree decorations in the mid-20th century, when affordable novelty ornaments were produced in large numbers. The clown, more at home under a circus tent than on a Christmas tree, gave those designs a playful, whimsical twist that collectors still enjoy today.
