Details: This is such a sweet musical figurine, perfect to celebrate Christmas, the birth of Jesus. It has two angels looking over the Baby Jesus, the detail on this figurine is absolutely wonderful. Hand painted perfect faces, all the little fingers are in place. The colors are very pale blue and beige. It is bisque porcelain, made for Gorham in Japan. The music box is made by Sankyo with a plastic disk to wind it on the bottom. It plays "Silent Night", a little slow, but very clear, This is a rotating music figurine, moves around as it plays. These were continued to be made through the 70's and 80's but made in Korea. A great gift for a music box collector. Perfect decor for Christmas.
Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. Plays slowly, not sure if that was the intention, but sounds good. There is a little bit of residual glue visible on one wing of the smaller angel, could be the wings were hand applied, there is no crack or separation visible from the other side.
