Cat Stevens's music and lyrics, gathered with photographs in a 152-page softcover anthology from 1972, now out of print.
Artist: Cat Stevens
Publisher: Triangle Music / Walter Kane & Son
Copyright: 1972
Format: Softcover, 152 pages
Dimensions: 11.0 inches Tall, 8.5 inches Wide
Condition: Very Good vintage condition — we did not rate it Excellent because the cover has come unglued from the rest of the book, but the book itself is in perfect condition, with wear to the cover consistent with age and use. Photos are the best way to assess a book's condition; we never fully open a book to avoid creasing it, which is why our pictures are not straight, and we are happy to answer questions and send additional pictures. Please review photos closely before purchasing, as all sales are final.
A great gift for a Cat Stevens fan, for a guitarist or pianist who wants to play the songs, or for a collector of 1970s music memorabilia.
Born Steven Georgiou in London in 1948, Cat Stevens became one of the defining singer-songwriters of the early 1970s, with songs like "Wild World," "Father and Son," "Peace Train," and "Moonshadow." He converted to Islam in 1977, took the name Yusuf Islam, and returned to music decades later as Yusuf / Cat Stevens. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
We also carry The Golden Beatles songbook from 1965. Browse our shop for more vintage songbooks and music ephemera to round out your collection.
